One day while scrolling through Instagram, I came across a photo of the captivating Jennifer. I reached out to see if she’d be interested in a test shoot, and thankfully, she said yes.
Not only is she extremely talented as a model, makeup and hair artist, but she’s also dealt with the adversity and discrimination of being deaf/hard of hearing. Photo and video shoots can be chaotic productions, but she’s always found a way to to shine when given the opportunity to do so… even up to being a real life Barbie in the new movie!!! Seriously, how cool is that?!?
Jennifer is someone I now consider to be a friend, rather than just someone I can call on for makeup and hair, or to test some lighting.
The photos here are from two different shoot days and different setups, so I’m skipping lighting notes this time..
And now I’m off to drop off a roll of film we shot on another day while enjoying a few cocktails on Commercial Drive!!
